Since the June-July 2004 issue the new owner and publisher Jimmy R. Hammond has
continued to improve and expand the magazine and associated web page.
Old favorites in the magazine like the Inside Annapolis Map©, Bay Icons, Consider This... , Jimmy's Favorite
Sites, Recent Home Sales, Events
Calendar, Restaurant Reviews, Birthdays,
Business Directories and Crossword Puzzle Contest are
still there, but the magazine now has a
heavier weight cover and an expanded 124 pages which now includes a new
advertiser/subscription insert card, a new and
expanded table of contents, MORE Annapolis Insider
articles per issue, MORE Bay Business articles per
issue, MORE Feature articles per issue, a NEW page
called About Annapolis an Annapolis history page,
a NEW page called Annapolis Editions which features
various works from Annapolis authors, a NEW page called
Legal Briefs which highlights a legal point of view for lay
people, continuous and expanded coverage of local charities
and schools
and an expanded Advertiser Directory.
The web site was
renamed
www.InsideAnnapolis.com and rebuilt. The changes are extensive
and too numerous to detail, but are quite easy to experience by just
wandering through the hundreds of new pages and features. Check
out the Quotables link for first-hand opinions from readers
and advertisers. Don't forget to take the
latest
Town Pulse while you are there. And if you like Crossword
Puzzles, give ours a try - you might win dinner at the Chart House
Restaurant. To date we have archived past
issues through October-November 2002 as well as all back issue covers. The archiving process is ongoing.
March 2006 site statistics showed 187,000 hits and
11,357 visitors, indicators of the magazines continuing site growth
and community interest.
We distribute and/or mail 25,000 copies per issue through
our distribution network in the greater Annapolis area.
The various ad sizes
from 1/12 to a whole page in black & white or full color have been
supplemented by a 3-page gatefold and a micro-perforated 4" X 4" double-sided
full color insert card which is attached to the new subscription post card.
